Paris, Meet The Big House

Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, soon will be soon serving time at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California on a violation of probation charge. As many know, Paris was involved in an incident for drunk driving September 7, 2006. In the court case, the judge sentenced Paris to 36 months probation, enroll in an alcohol education class, and pay a $1500 fine. Only one of those did she follow through with, paying the fine off was the least of her worries. The reason Paris is being sent to jail, is she never took the time out of her party lifestyle to take the alcohol education class, and not only violating her probation once, but twice.

The first violation came January 15th of this year, less then 4 months from her original sentence, when she was pulled over driving on a suspended license. At that time the officer who pulled her over, made her aware she was driving on a suspended license, and had her sign a document stating she understood her license was suspended. Just over a month later, Paris was once again pulled over on February 27th she was pulled over for speeding with her cars headlights turned off. At this point she was arrested for violation of probation for driving on a suspended license, and taken to jail.

Paris claims she didn’t know she had a suspended license, but through a search of her car that night, they found the document signed by her, only a month prior.

After being released from jail that night, she was given a May 4th court date to face the charges. When that date came, Paris showed up ten minutes late, and the rest has now been engraved in history.

45 days in the big house, no Blackberry, no laptop, nothing more then her prison fatigues, and 5 minute showers once a day. She won’t be able to sleep on thousand dollar bed sheets for over a month, and can’t have the normal shower schedule a diva like her must have. What a pity.

Who knows what will happen in this chapter of her life, could she possibly realize life isn’t made of just money and jewelry. Or will this shoot her to more fame, like her past problems have seemed to do so many times.
