Mind Control

May 19th will mark Stephen Marley's first performance at Jannus Landing as a solo artist. Stephen has been responsible for five grammys awarded to the Marley clan for his production efforts on various projects with his siblings. Now the time has come for the man behind the scenes to step up to center stage.

“What can I say” Stephen says. “We are a team and I am the midfielder. I am the one that sends through passes so that my teammates can score the goals. That was just the position that was comfortable for me, the position we all flourished best at, when I was in the middle”.

“Now it's time for me to go up front”

Stephen Marley's first solo album “Mind Control” debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Reggae album chart in March. Reggae aficionados are saying “Mind Control” is exactly the direction the genre needs right now. The album is being considered another Marley musical milestone and a testament that good things come to those who wait. Entertainment Weekly hailed “Mind Control” as “the best Marley album in a generation”, and Jamrock Magazine called Stephen Marley “a triple threat entertainer that's taking the Marley name and Reggae to new heights”.

If you have never been to a Marley concert, I suggest you check this one out! Great entertainment, good vibes, and pleasant aromas “cough, cough”. Doors open May 19th at 8pm, show @ 9pm w/ featured guest Damian “Jr Gong” Marley. Soon Come.
